It is the mission of the Scott County Sports Hall of Fame to recognize and honor men and women who have distinguished themselves and gained prominence in amateur and/or professional athletics; who have brought positive recognition to themselves, Scott County,
the State of Mississippi and their own community; and who have met the established eligibility requirements for induction.
We are excited to have passed our 10 anniversary
of honoring former athletes who participated in their respective sports as student-athletes in Scott County.
We have come a long way since our start in 2014 and created great memories for our inductees and their families.
We started with 25 inaugural inductees
and now stand at 119 members.
New inductees will be added during the next ceremony
on April 25, 2026, at the Livingston Center
at Roosevelt State Park in Morton
Take a peek at our past induction ceremonies. They are held annually at the Livingston Performing Arts Center

Nominations are due by each September 30

This is a new feature we plan to cultivate. We don't have any entries right now, but if you would like to share what induction has meant to you as a member, or what it means as a family member or friend of an inductee, let us know.
We appreciate the support of all our sponsors and partners whose contributions help us accomplish our mission.
We continue to remember our inductees who have passed away, keeping their memories
in our hearts and minds.
In addition to traditional media, we recognize the role that social media plays in modern communication. Find us on Facebook, Twitter, and other media.
The Hall of Fame instituted its first Sportsmanship Award which will honor and recognize athletes and coaches for displays of sportsmanship during competition. The award will not necessarily be given every year, but will be granted when the HOF is made aware of an occasion where the award would apply.
